Missions
At Pump Springs we approach missions from the perspective of Acts 1:8. We believe that we must act locally as well as globally. Our mission efforts begin locally with the Manna House Community Outreach Center, a crisis ministry to the residents of Claiborne County, our Jerusalem. We support the Golden Offering for State Missions and are part of the Tennessee Baptist Convention Disaster Relief effort, our Judea. We support the North American Mission Board through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, our Samaria. We also participate in the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering to support the International Mission Board, the uttermost parts of the world. Currently we are in the planning stages of several short-term mission projects to involve members of all ages and abilities.
