The Manna House Community Outreach Center was established in 1998 to provide a way for area Christians to reach out to our community by helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the underprivileged. What started as a food pantry and clothing closet in 1998 has grown to now be a ministry consisting of two food pantries and a thrift store, Shared Blessings. The ministries of Manna House serve all of Claiborne County since we have been able to open our second pantry. This has been made possible through God’s working at Shared Blessings. He has blessed that branch of the ministry with some devoted and capable volunteers who are excited about raising funds to help support the food pantries. Both Manna House pantries are also blessed with several faithful volunteers. The directors of Manna House / Shared Blessings are Lagonda Snow and Lisa Perry.

Shared Blessings, a ministry of Manna House, is a non-profit community outreach thrift store that is staffed by volunteers and operates strictly on the donations or "blessings" of others.

We are open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday and the first and third Saturday from 10:00-2:00 and work in conjunction with the Manna House to serve clients in filling vouchers for clothing, household items, and furniture, These items are either at no cost to the client or secured at a reduced donation.

We offer a quiet Christian atmosphere that has become a haven to some and the individual needs are kept confidential for those needing assistance. We also offer occasional Bible studies that we hope will become a part of our ministry. God is blessing our lives daily with those who walk through our doors and our customers know before they leave that we are more than just a thrift store.

We are always in need of volunteers, especially during the spring and summer months and there is a growing need for furniture items. You can contact the store during regular business hours or contact LaGonda Snow 869-0212.
